Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, presided over the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement on the “Sustainable Civil Servant Debt Consolidation Project for Agencies under the Ministry of Finance”, Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, also attended as honorary witnesses to the collaboration between Krungthai Bank and the Ministry of Finance, with Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, along with executives of agencies under the Ministry of Finance participated in the signing ceremony. Nine agencies under the Ministry signed the agreement, including the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Treasury Department, Comptroller General's Department, Customs Department, Excise Department, Revenue Department, State Enterprise Policy Office, Public Debt Management Office, Fiscal Policy Office, and Seven cooperatives under the Ministry also joined the signing. The project aims to assist vulnerable groups of government officials in sustainably solving their debt problems at the Kampan Thong Room, 150th Anniversary Building, the Ministry of Finance, August 5, 2024.

Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, presided over the Ratchaphatsadu Land  Lease Granting Ceremony according to the “Thanarak Eua Ratch Project” Land Lease Agreements, Life-Changing for 2024, This initiative aims to drive government policies to address housing and livelihood issues, ultimately improving the quality of life for citizens. During the ceremony, 500 recipients were granted state property lease agreements for a total area of 273-0 - 76.90 rai, in the land plot registered as ชร. 1154 (partial) in Wiang Phang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province at Mae Sai Prasitsart School in Wiang Phang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, August 4, 2024.

Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, presented commemorative certificates titled "Proud Vayupak" to retiring senior executives, civil servants, and permanent employees from the Office of the Permanent Secretary and the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Finance. Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, along with MOF’s top executives, participated in a special interview session titled "Senior Executives Meet Finance Officials 2024" under the topic "Impressions and Pride in Civil Service Life at the Ministry of Finance" by Mrs. Woranuch Phu-Im, Deputy Permanent Secretary and Chief of The Asset Cluster, Mr. Chanvit Nakburi, Deputy Permanent Secretary and Chief of The Revenue Cluster, Both speakers shared their experiences, impressions, and pride in their civil service careers. The session was moderated by Ms. Pimpen Ladpli, Adviser on Policy and Strategy, at Maida Resort Hotel, Kanchanaburi, Kanchanaburi Province, August 2, 2024.

Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, presided over the opening ceremony of the Annual Seminar Project for Fiscal Year 2024 of the Office of the Permanent Secretary and the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Finance, under the topic "Enhancing Communication Techniques for Successful Operations and Supporting Tax Base Expansion" and delivered a special speech on "The Role of Finance Officials in Supporting Tax Base Expansion". Mr.Akkaruth Sandhyananda, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, delivered the ceremony report. The event was attended by executives of the Ministry of Finance, civil servants, and staff.The seminar included activities such as studying nature and wildlife at Khao Nam Pu, group relationship-building activities to promote a happy and successful organization through effective communication and coordination. Participants jointly engaged in forest planting activities, shooting tree seeds into the forest at Khao Nam Pu Nature and Wildlife Study Center, Sri Sawat District, Kanchanaburi Province. There was also a session where senior executives met with finance officials at Mida Resort Kanchanaburi, Kanchanaburi Province, August 1-2, 2024.

Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, reported on the progress of the first day of the opening of registration and identity verification for the digital wallet scheme through the "Thang Rath” application. The overall registration for the digital wallet scheme,  Today is the first day that citizens with smartphones were able to register, about 10.5 million people had successfully registered for the scheme within six hours of registration starting at 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This is considered a great success in moving the project forward. Regarding the morning period when some citizens failed to register successfully, it was not because the application crashed, but due to a large number of people trying to register simultaneously. This caused some system hiccups. It is believed that the situation will improve as people gradually register at different times. However, for those who have successfully registered, there will be a process to verify the accuracy of their information to determine if they meet the project's qualifications. The government will announce the results to everyone on September 22nd through the Thang Rath application at Meeting Room 401, 4th Floor, 150th Anniversary Building, Ministry of Finance, August 1, 2024.
