Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, presided over the 5th Vayupak Fund Supervision Committee Meeting 2024 to consider details regarding the offering of Type A investment units of the Vayupak Fund. Mr.Akkaruth Sandhyananda, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Government Housing Bank (GHB), along with Ms. Piyawan Lamkitja, Bank Director, Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr, Bank Director and Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (CG & CSR), and executives of the Government Housing Bank (GHB) welcomed Asst. Prof. Pimol Srivikorn, President of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand, Mr. Chatchai Chea and Capt. Chanatip Sonkham, coaches, and Flying Officer Panipak Wongpattanakit, Mr. Banlung Tubtimdang, and Ms. Sasikan Thongchan, members of the Thai national taekwondo team, following their victory at Olympic Games in Paris 2024. They expressed gratitude to GHB as the main sponsor of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand since 2006 to the present. GHB congratulated the Taekwondo Association of Thailand for winning 1 gold medal at the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Mr. Piyakorn Apibalsri, Chief Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance, visited Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Bureau and The Suvarnabhumi Airport Passenger Control Customs Office, to follow up on the performance of assigned work plans and projects, as well as to address any problems and obstacles in operations. He also visited to encourage the staff working at these offices. Mr. Theeralak Sangsanit, Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Bundit Sapianchai, Chairman of the Board of Executives, and Mr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM BANK), welcomed and provided financial support for the "1 Sport 1 State Enterprise" project to Thailand Practical Shooting Association (THPSA) and  Thailand Extreme Sports Association in the amount 32 million baht for 4 years. Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, presided over the opening of the 2nd Retirement Lottery Roadshow Across Thailand by NSF project in the Southern region, organized by the National Savings Fund (NSF). He also participated in a panel discussion on "Retirement Lottery: New Vision of Savings for an Aging Society" with Mr.Warotai Kosolpisitkul,  International Economics Advisor of the Fiscal Policy Office, Lt. Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Vayupak Fund Supervisory Committee, Prof. Dr. Pornanong Busaratraku, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Mr. Phakorn Peetathawatchai, President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), jointly held a press conference on "Vayupak Fund 1” preparing to offer Type A investment units to general investors with a total value not to exceed 100-150 billion baht. The offering of Type A investment units and listing on the Stock Exchange is anticipated to begin within the third quarter of this year and aims to provide more savings options for the public and support the development of the country's capital market at the Kampan Ngern, 21st floor, 150th Anniversary Building of the Ministry of Finance, August 13, 2024.

Mr. Piyakorn Apibalsri, Chief Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance, participated in the inspection according to the integrated inspection plan for the 2nd round of the fiscal year 2024, to follow up on the progress of implementation of the recommendations in the area together with Mr. Phikanet Tapuang, Inspector General of the Office of the Prime Minister, and inspectors from various ministries.
