Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, along with Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, and Mr. Pornchai Thiraveja, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office, jointly announced details of the Government’s Economic Stimulus Program 2024 through state welfare cardholders and disabled persons, which the Cabinet approved on September 17, 2024, following the Prime Minister's policy statement to the Parliament. The important policies will accelerate economic stimulus, build confidence, and encourage spending, along with alleviating the burden of expenses and increasing employment opportunities, with priority given to vulnerable groups to accelerate economic stimulus through spending by state welfare cardholders and the disabled, alleviating the burden of living expenses, increasing purchasing power, and increasing money circulation in the economic system quickly at the Government Press Conference Center, Narisara Club Building, Government House, September 17, 2024.

The Ministry of Finance is ready to move forward into the digital era, with the important goal of encouraging and supporting personnel and agencies under the Ministry of Finance to express their innovative creativity in organizational development and increase the efficiency in service and administration of the civil service system and extend ideas as a key mechanism in transforming and developing agencies and organizations to be ready for the country's transition to a digital economy. This is intended to effectively respond to needs and create satisfaction for the public. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, along with senior executives of the Ministry of Finance and officials from affiliated agencies. Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, presided over the award ceremony for Outstanding Provincial Office of the Comptroller General’s Department for Fiscal Year 2023, in which Mrs. Patricia Mongkhonvanit, Director-General of the Comptroller General's Department, along with senior executives of the Comptroller General's Department welcomed the attendees. The Outstanding Provincial Office of the Comptroller General’s Department Awards for 2023, which passed the evaluation criteria, were divided into two categories: 15 Outstanding Provincial Office Awards and 10 Special Category Awards. The award ceremony was held to boost morale and honor the Provincial Office of the Comptroller General’s Department, as well as to publicize the roles and duties of the Provincial Office of the Comptroller General’s Department to government agencies, state enterprises, and the public. It also serves as a model for other Provincial Office of the Comptroller General’s Department to follow, at the Grand Ballroom, Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok, September 13, 2024.

Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, presided over the award ceremony for the "1 Community 1 Excise Champion" project. This project recognizes cooperation between local excise offices and community liquor entrepreneurs in driving the community economy through excise taxes. The policy aims to promote and boost the community economy while developing and elevating the quality of community liquor to meet international standards, gain consumer acceptance, and increase competitiveness. It also emphasizes environmental, social, and governance issues to strengthen and sustain communities. This aligns with the government's policy of prioritizing the green economy and community economy. The Excise Department is collaborating with various networks to promote and strengthen communities and entrepreneurs, supported and driven by local excise offices. The goal is to help communities and entrepreneurs access funding sources and knowledge in areas such as marketing, energy, environment, product quality, and production, which Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Director-General of the Excise Department, delivered a report at the Aswin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok, September 11, 2024.
