    Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance presided over the opening ceremony of the Household Debt Mediation Fair, organized by the Government Housing Bank (GHB) and the Court of Justice of Thailand to provide an opportunity for customers under the special monitoring group (SM) and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) status who have been affected by income issues to negotiate with the bank. Court personnel act as mediators in the reconciliation process. The debt negotiation with GHB officials is completed in a single day, following a One Stop Service model, reducing court procedures and allowing customers to keep their homes, as well as giving a policy for GHB to expedite debt resolution for customers and to release over 160 billion baht in housing loans during the second half of 2024 to stimulate further growth in the real estate sector, at the Government Housing Bank, Nakhon Ratchasima branch, Nakhon Ratchasima province, July 1, 2024.

    Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, along with the MOF’s top executives and the MOF’s economic journalists, visited the operations of the land express cargo warehouse of Smart Alert Company Limited, which operates an import and export cargo warehouse in Nakhon Phanom province. The customs checkpoint here is considered the second largest in the country for land express cross-border goods, handling over 26 million pieces per year, after Mukdahan Customs House, in which Mr. Phantong Loykulnanta, Advisor on Duty Collection Management & Development, as the spokesperson for the Customs Department, explained the procedures for inspecting and releasing cross-border goods of the Nakhon Phanom Customs checkpoint, at Smart Alert Co Ltd, Nakhon Phanom province, June 29, 2024.
